Sign-up
Nuvei do not provide self-service sign-up for a sandbox account. To sign up, please contact the Nuvei sales team.
Credentials
When setting up Nuvei in the dashboard you will need to configure the following credentials, which are obtained from Nuvei.
- Merchant ID
- Client ID
- Secret key
- Merchant Site ID
Most of these can be found by logging into the Nuvei Admin Portal and going to Settings -> My Account
Limitations
Nuvei currently does not support the following features.
- Idempotency - Nuvei does not support retrying the same transaction to get the original response. Nuvei does support rejecting multiple
transactions with the same
clientRequestId
. Please ask to have this enabled if needed. - Co-badged card routing - Nuvei currently does not support co-badged card routing (merchant preferred routing) though we are looking to add this soon.
- Billing fields - Nuvei currently requires all transactions to contain a billing country and email, so these should be requested to the user and sent through accordingly.
